Tired of pop-up water emitters? The Lawn Grate outdoor yard drain is the ideal fitting for sump pump discharge and/or downspout extensions in the most demanding conditions. It is constructed of a heavy duty plastic built to be extremely durable and shatter resistant. Install it on the ground or in the grass. It's green color will blend nicely with your landscape for a finished look.
The Lawn Grate is designed to withstand the wear-and-tear of routine lawn maintenance. With its unique oval-shaped pipe inlet, the Lawn Grate can be compression fit to either 3" or 4" thin-wall drain pipes, eliminating the need for additional couplers or fittings. It does require a slight grade away from the foundation for proper installation. It can also be used in conjunction with a dry well. Drainage grates are perfect for landscaping and exterior drainage projects. The egg-like oval shape connection helps to give a compression fit. It is not designed to work with SCH 40 pipe.
